Don’t hit the trail this season without it: EquiMedic’s small Horn Bag Trail Riding Kit. Designed for the day trail rider in small groups, this kit is complete with every thing that the horse and rider might need while out on the trail, away from camp, the trailer or the barn. All supplies for people and horse fit conveniently into this handy horn bag.
Made of durable, heavy polyester fabric that is backed with a water resistant self liner, this well designed horn bag offers a large pouch to hang on either side of your saddle horn, zippered compartments in both flaps, one side is divided. There are several outside pockets in this horn bag medical kit, one for your necessary flashlight, and a convenient snap loop to keep your hoof pick quickly accessible.
Emergencies can happen to either the rider or the horse, or both while out on the trail. You might be hours away from medical assistance, and could suffer needless pain and agony if you are not prepared as best you can be. Let EquiMedic USA ride along on your next trail ride, and ride with the peace of mind that you carry the essentials for both you and your horse in case of need.
This bag can be easily utilized and mounted to most English, Australian and modified trail riding saddles by the use of the two attached "D" rings, one on the back edge of each pouch.
Introducing a new design for the Horn Bag Trail Riding Kit: Each top flap pocket is now one inch deep with a new zipper design. These two storage areas now hold 500% more items than our original design. These new larger storage sections will allow you to carry more first aid and personal items when you are away from camp, barn or trailer enjoying your trail riding experience with the peace of mind that you will be safe with EquiMedic USA.

- Comprehensive First Aid Kit Review by Chris Shriver
- EquiMedic worked with Mountain Valley Trail Riders to put together a comprehensive first aid kit for our club. They took into account our membership, type of activities and specific needs we had to have met including the cost. They compiled a list of supplies that would best meet our needs, and together they worked with us to increase or decrease quantities of specific items till we arrived at the perfect first aid kit for our club. Our club wanted a saddle bag with a removable cantle bag so that we could arrange our supplies to best suit our needs. (We can remove the cantle bad and leave it at camp in case for some reason a rider would not go out on the ride, they would still have some basic first aid supplies on hand. If everyone rides, the cantle bags are just attached to the saddle bags and it all goes on the ride. . It works great for the club.) EquiMedic worked to find us the type of saddle/cantle bags we wanted. All of this was accomplished via e-mails with Sharon Baker from EquiMedic. Our trust in EquiMedic has been earned through their hardwork and integrity. I would highly recommend their efforts to supply your club or event with a top notch first aid kit that will meet your needs. Please feel free to contact me via our president through our club’s website at mountainvalleytrailriders.com. San Francisco, California (Posted on 11/5/12) - Better Safe than Sorry! Review by Becky Russell
- My name is Becky Russell I live in Oroville, California. I was in a bad horse wreck recently and was caught without a first aid kit. After reviewing your products I know I will be getting one of your first aid kits. It’s still amazing to me that in our horse riding group of over eight, people no one had first aid kits. After getting home and to the pharmacy I realized that your first aid kits had better bandages and were cheaper than what I had to buy to treat myself!!! I now know that I will be safer and better prepared for unexpected accidents, thank you. I would hope that the sharing of my story no matter the embarrassment to myself it is worth letting others know that it is better to be safe than sorry, and also prepared for all types of accidents because they will happen.
